The Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA) is the only organization that is dedicated to the logistics industry for the shipment of dimensional and specialized cargo. Rail Transportation of this cargo is at the core of the organization, since rail transportation, in relation to dimensional cargo, is unique to North America. With globalization, there are an extensive list of logistics providers, along with the shippers & receivers, that support the total transportation process.

We are over 400 members strong and growing every year. Representation includes all aspects of the logistics process associated with the movement of dimensional cargo.   These include not only railroads, shippers, and receivers, but also ocean carriers, specialized trucking carriers, riggers, ports, service providers, and many more.
